Our Lady of Victory Church

The elegant doors of the baroque facade of Our Lady of Victory Church open onto a spectacular interior which boasts of some of the most beautiful art on the Maltese islands. The monumental vault paintings by the 18th century Maltese artist Alessio Erardi are a jewel in their own right, and compliment the fine decorative schemes of the side altars. The icon of Our Lady in its silver riza takes pride of place above the titular painting representing the Nativity of the Virgin.
